Go up Mt. Tamalpais for Sunset - East Ridge - Sun sets over the Pacific Ocean, and on foggy days - you rise above the clouds to view the fog as if it itself was a rolling sea - unbelievable experience!
Awake for Sunrise on Marin Headlands - Sun comes up over the bay and city - Amazing!
Take a drive along Hwy 1, out to West Marin, to visit Pt. Reyes or simply to do some BBQ Oyster tasting. Drive through some cute coastal towns. Do some organic cheese or wine tasting. (Remember: Fill up car before heading to West Marin- No gas stations out there!)
Lunch at Sam's in Tiburon on a Saturday or Sunday in the summer is always great with plenty of action - people, boats, and Views.
Go to Angel Island for the day or a just of couple hours - perhaps do lunch. :)
Cafe serves great food, drinks, and even music entertainment.
