Note:  Due to the homes size and spaciousness , it is one of the most luxurious and cost effective ways of putting up you and your guests for that special event.  Enjoy a great home layout that incorporates panoramic Views,  large main areas, and retreat like bedrooms.   However, because the Marin Vista House is available year round, and out of respect for the neighbors, all party activity at the Marin Vista House must be limited to 25 people (includes caterer's) the most, and only during afternoon hrs.

Here is list that "Marin Vista House" considers "classic" Marin venues:

Classic "Marin County" Event Venue list:

In Marin, it is all about "classic" atmosphere!

Places like the "Falkirk Mansion" in San Rafael or the "Lyford House" in Tiburon are classic historic Marin homes and worthy of mentioning.  However, there are Restaurants/dance facilities that have withstood the test of time, like "Rancho Nicasio", out in West Marin, that is worthy of consideration for your special day. Then there is plenty of outdoor nature settings that are very worthy as well.  Consider the Mill Valley Cushing Amphitheatre, a very surreal, poetic place to tie the knot.
