Marin Vista Retreat has been listed with Airbnb since 2014.

Airbnb: Booking fee’s for guests usually 14%, sometimes as high as 20%. (No idea why.)

Note: Nightly rate on Airbnb is set higher due to policies and fees put on host (and guest -see example below!)

Airbnb charges “guest service fee/ booking fee” that is high, and with this large house, add up:

Example: Rent total: $7,580.00 - Airbnb adds extra $1,151,30 called “Guest Service Fee” - this isn’t a tax but a site fee that does not go to the owner.

Step 1:  Contact us:

  • Click “Contact” on this page to contact us about a booking possibility.

Step 2:  Contract & Deposit Required

  • Request a contract, it will be sent to you via email.  Send in Deposit amount with contract and confirm sent via email. (Deposit fully refundable after check-out).

    • Contract good for 5 days after sent via email *If contract & payment not received, or confirmed sent, within three (3)business days after the date first noted above, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and offer rental of the Marin Retreat Vacation Home to others for the above dates. 

  • If booking within the 60 day period, deposit and full balance is due to reserve. Confirmation of reserved booking sent via email upon receipt of deposit payment.

Step 3:  Send Final Payment (60 days before check-in).  

  • Check-in codes and Confirmation packets sent upon receipt of final balance payment.

  • Accepted forms of payment: Venmo, Personal, Check, Cashiers Check, Cash.

Showing / Viewing of the home:

Showings & Viewings of the Marin Retreat Home

Marin Vista welcomes potential guests to view the home whenever guests are not checked-in. Please contact us to schedule.

  • One (1) showing only per group.  Because the home books groups of up to 20, we ask that potential guest bookings coordinate together for the showing.

  • Additional Visits:

    • Additional visits (after booking) for additional viewings can be arranged with an additional

      • $45 fee, per hour visit.

    • Early drop off of goods is Not available due to liability.
